The Virginia Horse Center Facility boasts 600+ acres of picturesque grounds that hold a 4,000 seat coliseum, eight barns to accommodate 1,200 horses, 19 show rings, cross-country, and combined carriage driving courses and campgrounds, and offers full catering and café services. The VHCF also hosts many non-equine events such as dog shows, BMX, agriculture programs, and the Rockbridge Regional Fair & Farm Show.

The Virginia Horse Center is a 600 acre state-of-the-art environment for horse shows and other livestock events. The Virginia Horse Center has twelve show rings, including the 150' x 300' indoor Waldron Arena in the Howard P. Anderson Coliseum. There is a five mile cross country course, and such amenities as a campground, a restaurant and catering service with banquet facilities and a gift shop. Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Virginia Horse Center hosts horse shows throughout the year. Every discipline and breed shows take place here. There are also BMX and dog agility shows too. Free to enter and walk around. The cross country makes for an excellent spectator event.

Virginia Horse Center The Stonewall Country Hunter-Jumper Show is a winter must-see horse show held January 15-19 and January 31-February 2. Star City Canine Agility will take to the ring inside Anderson Coliseum February 13-16. The Lone Star Rodeo bucks and broncs into town February 21-22 for the indoor winter Bulls, Barrels & Broncs series. Grab a seat and watch the cowboys hold on tight! 15 minute drive from house.
