A stunning village with thatched roofs, and great walks along the coast. The car park has a lovely cafe at the entrance which used to be a Chapel. In the village is The Shipwright Arms again great food & pub. You can get the ferry over to ‘Ferryboat Inn’ another local eatery I’d recommend.
Helford offer a wonderful escape from the usual hustle and bustle of Cornwall. There are pubs on opposite sides of the river which you can reach via the ferry. This is Daphne Du Maurier country, and it feels like another world.
Charming beach on the Helford Estuary, perfect for leisurely kayaking, gazing out over the sailboats from the balcony of the local restaurants and exploring the coastal path.
