if you fancy a bit of Italy in the heart of London this is St Peter's known locally as 'the Italian church'. Genuinely very different from English churches and next door is a fab coffee shop!

Even if you're not a Catholic this unprepossessing exterior houses one of the most ornate interiors this side of St Peters in Rome - the Italian festival takes place around here around the 16th July

Clerkenwell has long been the centre of London's Italian community made manifest by this huge Catholic church concealed behind the streets.
