The Orange County Zoo focuses on animals native to the Southwest USA, so don't expect elephants and gorillas, but kids seem to appreciate the mountain lions, coyotes and snakes that dwell here.

Extremely affordable zoo and inside the regional park. There is a nearby kids train, petting zoo, face painting and other marvels
