Another great place for walks on the water and a beautiful view of the Pacific Northwest. A WA state Park Pass is required.
Watch the setting sun throw Mt. Rainier into shades of pink from across the Sound.... or watch the rising sun silhouette the mountain. Clamming and digging for geoducks when in season.
Penrose is a 165-acre Washington state park located on Mayo Cove and Carr Inlet at the southern end of Puget Sound. The park has over 2 miles of saltwater shoreline as well as 2.5 miles of hiking and biking trails and an interpretive nature trail.
