Great wines & tasting room, beautiful gardens with a huge sculpture. Amazing drive alongside the Kawarau gorge - not for the faint-hearted, as it's a one lane dirt track with sheer cliffs in places, but well worth the drive!

Chard Farm winery is situated in an idyllic spot overlooking the Kawarau River; certainly one of most picturesque vineyards in the country. The view from the road to get there is amazing. Well worth it.
