Just 100 years ago women received the right to vote in the U.S. and Seneca Falls was ground zero for the movement that brought it about. This well-designed park elevates the courageous people that made it happen. Be sure to visit Wesleyan Chapel, site of the First Women's Rights Convention.
Seneca Falls is the home of Women's Rights and this is a very fine hands on experience to learn about this era
Seneca Falls is a very important place in the history of women in America. The very first Women's Convention was held there back in 1848. It was truly a hotbed of civil unrest. It's a quiet little town now but worth a visit. The Women's Hall of Fame is just down the street from the Park.
