Make sure to stop at Dolly’s Ice Cream on your way out for a delicious local favorite!

A National Forest in the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina. Hiking, waterfalls, rolling hills, horseback riding, and fly fishing are just a few of the amazing options at this historic site. If you want to avoid the crowds, visit on a weekday or when the park first opens.
Lots of places to fish, plenty of hiking and biking trails. Some even tube down Davidson River in the summer.
