Torre de Almedina and Porta da Barcacã was builded close to XI century, and is the main old entrance of the medieval walled city. After you enter the arch, you will be drive across the hills, finding beautiful architecture, nice food spots, unique scultures, but also the opportunity to attend one of the shows of "Fado" music. Fado is a music that wakes up in everybody who listen, a nostalgic feeling of deep romance inside, that stays on you...pulling you to one day, come back to Coimbra ones again.
