As close to a department store you will fine in Saranac Lake in case you left something basic at home. They also sell some locally made products.

Because there aren't any department stores in the area, the community store was started by selling shares to the local residents. It has clothing, kitchen items, jewelry, yarn, etc. Stop by for a look....it's near the Library.
