No wine here, but an amazing sandwich joint for mid-wine-tour lunch. The portions are large - consider sharing. Attached to a lovely market, and across the street from two wineries (not in th guide, but still worth a visit if you're in the area)
• Must try Farm to table Sandwiches •Only open seasonally, check online to see if are open!
We go to Flossie's almost every time we're in the county because the sandwiches are fully loaded and next level; the fries are crispy, salty and deliciously herbed (again, next level). If you have kids or an inner child to please, the burgers and mac and cheese balls are really good too. Flossie's also serves County Bounty, a local soda that's inventive, bubbly, refreshing and oh so delicious! The grounds are the perfect setting for a County picnic so bring a picnic blanket or pull up a seat at the picnic tables. At Carson's Garden Market (which hosts Flossie's "food truck") you'll find unique and beautiful house plants, seeds and garden things, natural locally made soaps, chocolates, teas and goods for kids and pets too. They also have rescue goats. Flossie's can get pretty busy in the high season, so prepare for a wait.
