Built in 1716–17 as a charity school, Bluecoat Chambers in School Lane is the oldest surviving building in central Liverpool.
A Grade I listed, 300 year old building in the heart of Liverpool's city centre, Bluecoat offers a year-round programme of visual art, literature, music, dance and family activities.
The Bluecoat showcases talent across all creative disciplines including visual art, music, literature, dance and live art, and nurtures new talent by providing studio spaces for artists within a unique creative community
