The beautiful Erie Canal bike and hiking trail is on the north side of the canal from our cottage. Excellent for a fun bike, jog or walk along the canal.

Walk, jog or bike. The canal extends from Buffalo to Albany so you can take it in either direction. Just be sure to turn around to get back to where you started!

Take a walk, a jog or rent a bike in Pittsford to ride the historic Erie Canal, about a 10-15 minute stroll from the home.

Check out the historic lift bridge. Maybe you will see it in action. Read historical markers, see the murals on display. Check out the towpath where mules once towed barges on the canal.

You can find many restaurants, walk around the Erie Canal, Have an ice cream, live music.
