At the top end of Brick Lane, the hatmaker Bernstock Speirs is an über-cool, eccentric London hat label that’s been going for 30 years. The hats are reinventions of classics, with an added quirky design twist like bunny ears or netting. Find hip woollen hats, such as beanies with veils and fluffy pompoms, or baseball caps with design quirks like bunny ears in mesh, glitter fabric, fur, or Fair Isle knit. Others have giant bows and thick, padded bumpers around the visor.
