It’s relaxing to run on this elevated path that’s similar to the High Line in New York City because you feel like you’re not in the city anymore. You can hear the cars and people below on avenue Daumesnil, but since you are above them, they are not in your way. Enjoy the plants and flowers along the way! There are several entry and exit stairways along the route, so you can choose the stretch you like. I start at the beginning, near Bastille, and run all the way to Bois de Vincennes, which is about 4K.

Best green walk ! A nice break in Paris. It's a bit our Highline. If you go for a run, go early, it also gets busy
Paris has some of Europe’s most beautiful parks but for something different search out the Promenade Plantée. It’s a magical, green stroll 10 metres above the street, which begins at the Bastille and winds through the 12th arrondissement for three miles, coming out before the Bois de Vincennes.
