It is the oldest surviving single-arch railway bridge in the world, and a key element of the industrial heritage of England.

This is a wonderful walk, you will need decent walking shoes but it is a relatively easy walk along the oldest railway line. It is 10 minutes drive and has a tea shop at the end and a pub across the road (Causey Arch).
