Located near the very centre of Dublin, opposite the GPO (General Post Office), the life-size bronze statue of novelist James Joyce has become one of the city's most iconic monuments. Leaning on a cane, one hand in his pocket and crossed-legged, Joyce strikes a distinctly Chaplinesque pose.

One of Dublin's most photographed statues stands at the corner of North Earl Street and O'Connell Street. Lovingly called "The Prick with the Stick"
