A visit to the Arab Baths will take you back in time and make you discover details of the past of the city and the Roman influence.
They were built in 1194 that mimicked the structure of Muslims bathrooms. The siege of 1285 caused considerable damage to the building. In 1294, James II of Aragon gave it to Ramon Tolrà.
Although modelled on earlier Muslim and Roman bathhouses, the Banys Árabs are a finely preserved 12th-century Christian affair in Romanesque style.
