Mazdak, the owner of this wine bar formerly known as Postiche, serves tapas, charcuterie, and small-lot organic wines to a young and beautiful clientele. I always run into someone I know there. Mazdak himself is a fountain of knowledge on French wine. He introduced me to one of my favorite Alsatian Riesling producers: Gustave Lorentz. The nut terrine was especially prepared by Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie, nearby, and the tuna comes from Ile d’Yeu and is served with a sesame and candied lemon condiment. Order both!
