The train route from Scicli to Ragusa via Modica is a truly spectacular immersion in the Sicilian countryside at a more than affordable price. For the train lovers among you, this is a rare rail experience which will slowly transport you along some of the Val di Noto baroque trail. And when you will approach Ragusa, brace yourself for a surprise: the town that you will see at your left will appear at your right after exiting a spiral tunnel built in the 19th century (!). Check train times in advance, as journeys are not very frequent.
