I would recommend you eat here for decently priced, quality English food! We don't just eat Fish and Chips! (although they cook that too)

On the corner of the crescent as you walk to the tube station – great pub for a few local drinks with decently priced meals

Very nearby, 1 min walk away for the thirsty people! Nice big pub, lovely interior, good food, music
