A little soba restaurant not far from the Shoin Shrine in Setagaya, where I first discovered my love for buckwheat noodles. The aroma of the noodles is just delightful, and it’s a pleasure to stay a while, slowly savoring the leftover broth. I recommend getting the cold seiro soba, light green noodles dipped in a soy sauce-based mixture called tsuyu. With an ample selection of Japanese sake and shochu on the menu, this is a perfect place to come for drinks in the evening.
