Irving house is a beautifully preserved house once owned by a prominent citizen of New Westminster. It is decorated with period pieces and run by knowledgeable volunteers.
Built in 1865, and lived in by Captain Irving and his Family up until 1950. It was then purchase by the City of New Westminster. It is said to be haunted, but not known for that. Daily tours. Recommended.

This house was built in 1865 and is fascinating. Staff in period costumes will give you a tour and are very informative about how people used to live without electricity, central plumbing and the internet! Great for a family outing.
