Cheapest and easiest way to get out on the lake and it gets you to Madeline Island. If you take your car, go to Big Bay State Park. If you don't take your car, you can hit downtown plus the city beach.

The ferry to Madeline Island is about a 15 min ride from Bayfield. The town park on the island is a magical spot to explore, however you need a car or bike to get there, itʻs too far to walk.
