Fish Point is a gently rolling, shallow-sand, limestone plain in the Lake Erie. Its southern deciduous forest harbors rare plants and an abundance of birds.
Birders will love this location! Trails, wildlife, peaceful hikes through the trees
This is the furthest southern point in all of Canada. Ride your bikes, and walk along a trail for about 15 minutes to the beach. In my mind this is the first and last activity you should do on your visit. It's picturesque, and very few people have been to the most southern point in all of Canada. Count yourself among them!
Pelee is a renowned bird lover’s paradise. One of the best spots for birding is the Fish Point Nature Preserve on the South side of Pelee. Even for non-birders, Fish Point, a shifting sand bar that extends anywhere from 1-3 kilometers into the lake depending on weather patterns, is a must see.
