Vajdahunyad Castle (Hungarian: Vajdahunyad vára) is a castle in the City Park of Budapest, Hungary. It is a copy of Hunyad Castle, known as Corvin Castle (Romanian: Castelul Corvinilor), in Hunedoara, Romania.
The Vajdahunyad Castle was built as a millennial celebration of the Hungarian Conquest in 895. Right next to the castle is the City Park Ice Rink and Boating. In the summer it functions as a boating lake, in the winter it's a huge ice-skating rake. Around christmas, a christmas market is held nearby!
