This lovely walk is right for our door step. Best for even sunset views

The Chattri is a memorial built to honour the Indian dead of the First World War. ... and Sikh soldiers who died in Brighton war hospitals during 1914-1915. An unexpected gem of a monument. Take a picnic and enjoy the serenity.

Great views across Brighton to the sea - well worth the uphill walk.

One of our favourite walks in Brighton not too far away to drive. Walking to and from the monument is around 5km. My children enjoy getting closer and closer to it in the distance. Beautiful view en route.
