Fresh bagels and cream cheese. Yum! Stroll down the boulevard to Queensbury, then hurry back home and surprise the family with delicious fresh bagels for breakfast.

Paleo diet? Screw you... I visited the real Mount Royal Bagel Factory in Montreal in the late 80's. It was nothing like this. It was a dive. Painted powder blue and dirty, florescent light blasting into the night. There was a 65 yr old guy with cigarette hanging from his bottom lip as he slid cord after cord of hardwood onto the decades old fire brick oven. It was 100° scorching hot in there which made the 90° sticky humid evening rather cool. At 4am you'd signal him to buy a few deformed dough swirls to soak up the evenings outing and sober up. It was magic. Now this shop... Bagels I'd say are a 6/7 out of ten (unless you're Jewish)
