The largest recreational anchorage/mooring field north of Marblehead, Massachusetts. There is a public beach and boat launch.

The Town Landing, a mile away, is home to the largest anchorage in Maine. The vessels are mostly recreational sailboats, and a few commercial lobster boats. There is a small beach, pier, and cool rocks to sit on and watch all the activity. It's a great place to launch kayaks and paddleboards. The sunrises are amazing here!
