This is a cooler place in the summer months because of its dense canopy of trees. There are several great picnic locations near the creek and there are hiking trails as well.

one of only 2 areas in the state with remaining virgin forest, never been logged. nice little hike around the area.

Rhododendrons, virgin forrest, Hemlocks, creeks. It is peaceful.
