Lion Rock is formerly Derricks Tea Room, refurbished 2015, one of Cheddar's oldest tea rooms, with outdoor seating. Opposite is Cafe Gorge, a newly built and well-appointed tea room.

Typical English Tea House. Famous for its panini with bacon, brie and cranberry. Very tasty.
