Go down to Globe Town to experience a typical East End market. Downey Bros fishmongers (thurs-sat until 1pm) and Herbert greengrocers (most days til 1pm except Sundays) are the ones who offer quality products and have been carrying the East End market stall tradition at the same spot for generations!

Visit the fruit sellers here for a proper experience of East End life from a family who have been trading for generations. Hipsters queue up alongside Cockney grannies and the area's Asian community to stock up on cheap and fresh fruit and veg. Downey Brothers fish stall next door sells cockles, whelks and oysters.
