Klydesøen Kalvebod Fælled badebro: Far out on Kalvbod Fælled, after crossing forest, and bird sanctuaries and where you can only get to either on foot or by bike, you end up at the end of Amager with a view of the Sound. On the entire stretch of coast there is a dam that makes it impossible to swim, but right out at Søndre Pumpe station, a bathing bridge with a plateau has been built into the water. The water is surprisingly delicious, clean and lagoon-like. It is a fun experience to transport yourself through nature the long way and get to the little oasis. There is a lot of exciting things to do at Kalvebod Fælled, so bring your packed lunch and spend a whole day there. Look at the dams, read about the story behind, go exploring in the Pentecostal forest and watch birds.

This 2000 acres naturreserve is great for long walks or trips on the bike. Also good for bird watching.

Huge open area, great for bicycling and walking in. Can be quite windy, but on a calm day, this is a great way to get away. The Amager Natur center is great for kids.
