This is the place to go when the kids want to swim during low tide on the Bay. Sandy bottom, playground, lifeguards and close enough to bike there.

Plymouth Rock? Nope! This is where a Pilgrim hunting party landed after stopping in Provincetown. Here is where they first met the native people of North America, the Nauset tribe, in 1620.

The pilgrims may have settled in Plymouth, but they made a pit stop on Cape Cod first!

Where the Pilgrims met the Native Americans for the first time in 1620. Today you can enjoy a pristine bayside beach that hasn't changed much since then. Go all the way to the end of the parking lot to access the Herring River inlet where you can find swimming holes even at low tide.
