De Alde Feanen is one of the twenty National Parks in the Netherlands; And that is not for nothing. The Alde Feanen is a unique area with a rich nature and cultural history, created from peat excavations.

This is one of the most beautiful areas to explore by boat. Either rent your own “sloep”, or reserve a spot on a tour boat.

Very nice national park with lakes and forests to hike through. Swimming/mountainbiking etc.
