Check their website for seasonal hours and they have a live camera to check current conditions. There is an admission fee. Best part is that they have guided fishing. I’m not a very skilled fisherman but I always have fun doing it. You have to book in advance but definitely worth it to get the locals help and guidance.

If you like fishing, this is a low cost option while close to all the amenities.
