Fun trail for hiking or biking, river for kayaking, or just go watch a kids baseball or soccer game on the weekends for some entertainment
Great park for the family, with walking and biking trails. The park entrance is literally feet from your doorstep.
Cook Park is only a small stop on the Tualatin River hiking and kayaking and bicycling trails peppered in and around Tigard. Cook Park is famous for the Festival of Balloons a magical event that takes place in late June. Hot air balloons fly in and take off in the early dawn returning at dusk for the Night Glow. Kids especially will find this magnificent as the captains release air up into the balloons while crews stand struggling against the wind to keep the giant balloons from flying off.
