Volksgarten and Südpark are located nearby and offer lots of space to go for a run, observe birds or just enjoy your time outside. Südpark is also equipped with a cafe where you can enjoy food or cakes and if you are with kids, they will enjoy it as well: there is a lot of space to play outside and a corner with toys inside. A free petting zoo is also located there. It can get very crowded if the weather is nice.

Ganz in der Nähe Ihres Zimmers gelegen ist das ehemalige Bundesgartenschau-Gelände. Mit Teichen, Themengärten, einem Bauernhof (Höfchen) und einem Gartencafé. Der Südpark geht über in den Volksgarten, der fast schon bis zur Innenstadt reicht.
