At sunset every night head to the breakwater behind St Kilda Kiosk along St Kilda Pier to watch over 1,000!penguins swim in to find their homes I. The rocks.
The St Kilda Pier in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia, was built in 1853 by the St Kilda Pier and Jetty company. It is home to a colony of fairy penguins, the St Kilda Pavilion, as well as the Marina of the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron.
Go 30 mins before sunset to see the Little Penguins returning to their roost. Definitely worth the trip.
