Una full immersion nel vulcano attivo più alto d'Europa, che da millenni affascina filosofi, artisti, scienziati e viaggiatori provenienti da ogni parte del mondo. Durante l'esperienza, attraversando paesini etnei dal caratteristico color nero "basalto" e la lussureggiante campagna etnea, raggiungeremo il punto di partenza del nostro percorso di trekking. Sarà sorprendente camminare tra fitti boschi di betulle, pino o faggio, per poi improvvisamente attraversare quella che i locali conosciamo come "Sciara", il desolatamente affascinante deserto vulcanico. Ammireremo tutta la bellezza e le contraddizioni di questo vulcano sempre in trasformazione: tra crateri estinti, paesaggi ora brulli ora lussureggianti, con una flora "eroica" che si è adattata a condizioni estreme. Durante il percorso di trekking che durerà 4h, scopriremo i vari ed interessanti fenomeni vulcanici etnei, faremo un pic-nic nel bosco durante il quale vi offrirò un bicchiere di vino etneo. Sarà un'esperienza autentica, durante la quale vi racconterò la nostra "Muntagna", dalla prospettiva di chi l'ha sempre vissuta dalle sue pendici. Vi parlerò di storia geologica, flora e fauna. Vi racconterò la mia terra anche dal punto di vista storico, antropologico, linguistico ed enogastronomico. Ma soprattutto proverò a trasmettere il viscerale legame che esiste da ormai tre millenni tra la terra vulcanica e le sue genti

Spend a fantastic experience immersed in Sicilian tradition and culture. On this 3 hours boat tour of Taormina. The adventure will start from the beach and you will participate in a relaxing tour of the coast of Taormina. Led by one or more local guides, you will visit all the most important bays and caves. During the tour we will stop in one of the best bays to swim and see the beautiful seabed, thanks to our Snorkeling equipment. All accompanied by a pleasant tasting of typical Sicilian wines. We will visit unique and historical places, such as the famous “Isola Bella” and we will also enter in some cave that will enchant your eyes through plays of light. The tasting includes: 1 glass of red wine, 1 glass of white wine, 1 glass of Prosecco. Snacks can includes: Sicilian cheeses and salami, nuts, fruit, olives, etc. If the weather conditions don’t guarantee the boat trip, I will let you know in advance and you will be refunded 100%. During the Snorkeling activity, there may be the presence of Stinging Jellyfish.

In this experience( Small groups), you'll visit three different wineries at Etna slopes. We will pick you up at your hotel/port and you will start your wonderful travel around top Etna wineries. Driving by comfortable, air-conditioned car or minivan through the small authentic mountain villages, you will admire unforgettable picturesque views of Sicilian countryside. The Etna Volcano erupting feeds the soil, and that is why this region is considered to be one of the best in the world for growing grapes and wine production. The first venue will be a family run winery. Sipping refreshing wine, you will have a guided tour around the estate, after which you will visit the cellars where the owner or your private sommelier will explain you the wine production process. Finally, you will sit at a wonderful terrace and with your personal sommelier start food and wine tasting. Enjoying the panoramic view , we will drive to the second venue and we have tour around the estate, and with a professional sommelier you will taste 4 brilliant red, rose and white wine of the region. You will continue the tour driving to the last venue,where we will finish this authentic experience in Sicilian tradition and taste. We'll discover the unique nature and the geology of the Mt. Etna visiting the volcano up to the extinct craters at 2000 meters. Scenic driving from the beach level up to the extinct craters, following an itinerary off the beaten road, with the visit of the most important point of interest along the way up. We will complete our experince with a guided and easy trekking around the extinct craters, to understand this human friendly volcano, enjoying an almost lunar landscape. Start this wonderful culinary tour at 10am, with a pick up from your accommodation by a native authorized local guide/driver with Mercedes Minivan . Small group (Maximum 8 Guests) is guaranteed. You will continue your trip driving through quaint Sicilian Villages, admiring local and authentic lava-stone houses, listen charming stories about Sicilian culture, tradition and food. Here You enjoy views on the best Etna vineyards surrounded by frames of lava stones. You will stop at the first venue, an antique family running winery, where You will be welcomed by the owner with a glass of wine. Have a guided visit of cellars (optional) and start the wine and cold appetizers tasting. Tasting will include: glasses of Etna wine, locally produced cheeses, salami, olives, sun-dried tomatoes. The second stop will be in a antique and unique restaurant/farmhouse. Incontro con lo chef Mimmo Siciliano a Taormina e visita del mercato locale assaporando vari prodotti freschi di verdura, formaggi venduti dai venditori locali. Continuazione verso il ristorante "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" a Giardini Naxos (trasferimento incluso nel prezzo) a 15 minuti dal mercato di fronte al mare e alla Baia di Naxos e Taormina, e dopo aver indossato il grembiule, preparazione di 3 piatti della tradizione siciliana: un antipasto, un piatto a base di pesce e diversi tipi di pasta fresca fatta con le proprie mani dai clienti. Scopri così la Sicilia nei suoi sapori unici, dai pomodorini di Pachino, al pistacchio di Bronte sito alle pendici del vulcano Etna. Deliziati del profumo delle melanzane mentre preparate un piatto di pasta alla norma, e scopri i sapori del nostro mare attraverso il pesce fresco preso al mercato, e insaporito dai capperi delle Isole Eolie e le olive nate dalla fertile terra vulcanica. E poi tutti a tavola per il pranzo tipico a pochi metri dalla spiaggia e dal mare. Infine consegna dei diplomi e del grembiule autografato come ricordo di un giorno speciale. From the beach, we will partake on a relaxing tour of the beautiful Taormina coast, we will visit all bays and caves and watch the sunset over Mount Etna (Europe's largest active volcano). You will be free to jump off the boat and swim in the Mediterranean Sea as well. Depending on the sea conditions there is the opportunity( If we are lucky) to admire the Dolphins. This sunset excursion is accompanied by fresh aperitif drinks and snacks made with our local Sicilian products. Aperitif beverages can include wine, prosecco, liquors, or non-alcoholic Sicilian juices and non-alcoholic cocktails. Meeting Point at 10 am at Restaurant .Our chef will teach you how to prepare a crusty shell, used to cover Cannoli, the typical Sicilian Sweet. You will kneadwith your hands and fry the dough into the peculiar shape. You will also see how the cream is prepared to fill up Cannoli’s shell, starting from the traditional Ricotta Sweet up to the custard. At the end of the cooking class you will taste the Cannoli prepared with your hands! We will embark from the beach for do a grand tour of the beautiful coast of Taormina, exploring grottos, bays and natural land formations. For example we will enter to the famous "Isola Bella" An UNESCO heritage site that has charmed visitors since prehistoric times. Along our tour we will stop to have a swim around one of the best bays, and you will have the option to use my snorkeling equipment, to explore whats under the sea! Other things to note: If the weather conditions don't allow us to go out in the boat, I will let you know ahead of time, and you will be 100% reimbursed for the tour that we had planned. During the Snorkeling activity, there may be the presence of Stinging Jellyfish.

You feel like an hobbit exploring Mordor... this feeling comes over you quickly when we walk through pine and birch forests and marvel at the many different lava flows. We descend into the caves of Etna and hike to the side slopes and craters. Depending on the group and weather conditions a possible sequence could look like this: We start the hike in a large pine forest to reach a lava cave, then we cross a recent lava stream. In the second part we hike up a slope to get a wonderful view over Valle del Bove and East Sicily. We will experience the size of Etna and what an important part it is of Sicily. This tour lasts about 7 hours and is suitable for people who like hiking, but also for families and children who are interested in this experience. If you have special wishes, travel alone or the number of people interested is more than six, please contact me before booking to discuss further details. The afternoon tour is shorter and it lasts until two hours after the sunset. Other things to note: During the tour we will hike above 2000m, so it is necessary to inform me about physical problems before and during the tour. IMPORTANTE: Tutte le escursioni vengono eseguite nel rispetto dei livelli del rischio vulcanico per cui, il tour potrebbe subire variazioni in base al livello di criticità dell'attività Incontro e partenza dal Piazzale Rifugio Sapienza presso l' Info Point Ashàra. Dopo un breve briefing, avrà inizio l’escursione che ci condurrà in cima a quota 3340mslm. Con la Funivia dell’Etna guadagneremo velocemente quota fino a 2500 mslm e di seguito con speciali Pulmini 4x4, saliremo ulteriormente fino a 2750 mslm. Da quota 2750 mslm inizierà la salita fino a 3340 mslm di circa 2 ore ove effettueremo 2-3 pause intermedie per goderci il panorama percorrendo dei campi lavici dall’aspetto lunare che ci condurranno proprio al Cratere Centrale dell'Etna, dove potremmo ammirare le peculiarità vulcaniche e geologiche che caratterizzano l’area sommitale. Attraversando la terrazza craterica visiteremo anche gli altri crateri sommitali. Successivamente, in discesa, divertenti sabbioni ci condurranno ai crateri del 2002-2003 e muniti di caschetto visiteremo un canale di scorrimento lavico. Dopo aver ammirato la grande Valle del Bove, ritornati a 2500 mslm la funivia ci riporterà al punto di partenza. I biglietti di funivia e unimog 4x4 (50€ a persona) non sono inclusi nel prezzo e dovranno essere pagati poi in contanti al nostro info point
